Here is the latest dress I made. I was making it just for fun as i didn't like both fabrics and wanted just to experiment. But it turned out quite wearable with right accesories:

I see you guys have tailos dummies. what material are they?

My TD is made out of linen, if that's any helpful. I think linen is the best material for dress forms.

This is a dress I'm working on right now. Although it's only the "practice dress" (made out of muslin, haven't used the real thing yet), I think it looks pretty acceptable. Hope you guys like.

I see you guys have tailos dummies. what material are they?

Mine has a foamy material on top. Its not that thick yet i have no poblem inserting pins. its not as sturdy as i would like and the legs are pretty lighweight so i should probably have them changed for a more havy set, with wheels probably, that would be cool. But the best thing is that is adjustable and since i work with clients from different sizes, its been really helpful, and it was cheap.

just looking through this thread, and everyone is so creative! i've made dresses and costumes before but nothing aci could wear on a daily basis, makes me want to go and actually take a class!
