Does anyone know if she's done more print work with VS recently? I haven't seen anything new for a while.

I found this tumblr fan site - not sure if it's been mentioned here before. Someone has done a lot of work here putting together a LOT of photos - work, backstage and some from social media. It's a great compilation - it was fun to scroll through (took ages though!) Big thanks to whoever runs this.

SHANINA SHAIK AT VICTORIA'S SECRET 2012 SHOW.

From casting to after-party, Aussie model Shanina Shaik shares her experience of the 2012 Victoria’s Secret fashion show in New York.

October 25
Today is the big day for the 2012 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show (VSFS) call-back castings. I have casted for VS many times before but [I always get] the same feeling: very nervous. I love the VS team and the show is a dream, very sexy and, of course, lots of fun, so fingers crossed!*
October 26
Overly ecstatic right now, jumping up and down! So happy that I received the phone call telling me I'm booked for the VSFS for my second year. I’m going to call my mum.
October 31
After the events of Hurricane Sandy, my fitting was changed to today. I'm still excited to see the VS styling team and directors and, of course, my outfit. My outfit is cute, fun and sexy: I'm a cheerleader! Victoria's Secret lingerie always makes me feel sexy. I'm so anxious for the countdown to the show, now that I have seen my outfit.
November 5
Called in for another fitting … My outfit has been changed, I have wings! I finally received my wings. My inner goddess is doing backflips.*
I also had an amazing spray tan by Jimmy Coco. His first spray tan on a VS model was Miranda Kerr, a fellow Aussie. I'm bronzed and glowing for the big day.
November 6
Today was the big rehearsal for the show. It was amazing: I was able to see the show come together and see all the acts that will perform. Secondly, I was able to catch up with some of my girlfriends who I haven't seen for a while.*
An exhilarating feeling was being able to wear my wings for the first time on the catwalk; a special moment for me, and I'm sure for any model who has the opportunity to wear wings in the VSFS.*
Tonight I will need much rest, as tomorrow is the big day. I can't wait!
November 7
The show is today! Call time is 9.30am, which is not too bad at all, although there is a big day ahead.*
I go to make-up first, which takes about an hour. While getting make-up done I do a few interviews. Then off to body make-up, then hair, which also takes about an hour. It's absolutely crazy backstage, there’s so many photographers and press. Most of my backstage time is filled with photographs and doing on-camera interviews.*
Closer to show time, every model is called to go backstage. Nerves run through my body when I'm led to the backstage area. I still get butterflies. Unfortunately, one of my good friends has decided she can't participate in the show due to an injury. It's very upsetting, so I wish her a quick recovery.
When it’s time for the show and we are called for "first outfits", my heart skips a beat. All dressed and ready, we are all lined up. I then have to put on my wings! *I have my cue to walk and I can't wipe the smile off my face. I also share the catwalk with Rihanna, which makes my experience even better. The crowd is amazing and cameras are going off in every direction. It's a huge adrenaline rush as I run backstage for my second outfit. It takes four people to fit me into it. I feel lucky to have the chance to walk again; I have so much fun on the catwalk.*
The finale is filled with dancing, laughing and cheering. Justin Bieber even gave me a kiss on the hand. Backstage after the show we take pics with the performers and thank the VS team for all of their hard work and dedication. Victoria's Secret Fashion Show is the best show of the year. I'm so very thankful to be a part of it all.
Now we all go to the after-party to dance and unwind. Fun!

It's a shame you don't get to see much of Shanina in the La Senza video but hope to see lots of pictures of her in the stores when they come out in December.

Great idea to have Shanina share her personal journey leading up to the VS castings and then the show. Though I wonder whether Australian Vogue or one of our other Aussie mags will feature Shanina on their front cover. A little disappointing considering she's come a long way and is doing us Aussies proud.

Has anyone heard anything more of Shanina's pictures in Indian Vogue due out December?

^Indian Vogue no, but she should be in next months Australian Vogue (hoping for a cover). Where did you hear snout Indian Vogue being out in December? I remember it was mentioned before early this year that she shot for them but I though it must have been scrapped cause it's been so long

She did a shoot for them and its suppose to be out in December. I think her pics for Vogue are for Decembers issue as well. But totally agree its about time we get to see Shanina on the front cover fingers crossed for her

I find it interesting from her diary that VS only decided to change her outfit 2 days before the show. It would have been a waste to have had her only as the cheerleader in the Calendar Girls segment. Izabel wore it in the end - it was cute but the one with wings was so much better. And hopefully VS can see she should be getting 2 outfits everytime, and not by accident or misadventure

She has gotten a fair bit of exposure on the Vogue Australia website so hopefully they see fit to put her on the cover.

December's issue of Vogue is out and no pics of Shanina so it's possibly going to be in January's issue. So hope Vogue have her on front cover as this would be Shanina's first Australian cover and I'm sure she would represent them proud. Looking forward to seeing all the pictures.

Great news re Italian Vogue

Wonder whether VS will have Shanina participating in the pre show launch? I hope so - she would be great! She's a natural and entertaining - loved her in the VS behind the scenes videos so fingers crossed
