Tyson has more like foot in the mouth disease but I'm sure deep down he would like to take credit for Shanina's success. Either way the facts are her agents would be the reason where she is today along with her efforts, beauty and talent. I'm sure Shanina would be angry and hurt by Tyson's ridiculous claim to her profile and I guess time will tell.

I tend to wonder what Tyson has to offer in interviews considering he doesn't do much anymore so I guess he tries to claim glory from his girlfriend?? Wonder how long that will last. I'm thinking Shanina is smarter than you think Mr Beckford

Fact - Shanina has always stressed in interviews that she keeps her professional career in the hands of her agents and doesn't rely on Tyson for guidance - I can understand why! Smart move Shanina cause you deserve better.

I further wish to add that I think readers will agree Tyson is full of himself (with a few other choice words) and that Shanina deserves better in her choice of boyfriend - that's obvious. But in the end no one can take away the success and bright future she has due to the beauty she is and how hard she has worked to get to where she is today.

^oh she read the article, I'm sure she is less then pleased. She stoped following him on twitter and tweeted that people dont know the whole story and that her agent is who got her to where she is today. I feel sorry for her that she needs to defend herself, your man should lift you up not bring you down.

If Tyson really wants her to succeed, he needs to distance himself away from talking about HER career. I feel like she's always so articulate in the way she answers those type of questions, and then he goes and compromises all of that? Not cool.

Tyson Beckford is a complete knob. I thought that was pretty obvious prior to this interview, but anyhow, the interview on the previous page is nothing compared to other stuff he has said publicly about their relationship. From memory, this stuff was said on camera, perhaps at the VS show? I think the footage is buried somewhere in this thread. The man's ego knows no bounds. Ick!

I don't know what to make of this, sounds like damage control. No idea what he means by lost in translation since it was an English interview. But hoping his apology came from the heart, I hope Shanina is ok because any woman deserves better then this, poor lady.

I saw that too. I'm not usually so cynical but to me, he's realised what an arrogant jerk he sounds like, and with all the criticism it's received, it is damage control to save his reputation. I was disgusted by a tweet of his when this first came out. It looks like it has since been deleted, but managed to get retweeted and circulated before then. I don't feel right posting a tweet that someone regrets and deletes, but it's out there...

But back to Shanina - don't think I've seen this Bonds one before

I have looked everywhere for the new edition and cannot wait to see the photo's in print - Shanina looks stunningly beautiful. High fashion yet still gorgeous at the same time. How did this girl not get front cover?

I hope Vogue continue to shoot with her cause she has done them well.
