I think platforms may be the biggest of all, but I think you've pretty much covered it

There's also a pretty major fetish/bondage trend, as illustrated by the Lanvin ...

Also, exotics are still big--lizard, croc, snake ...

I also feel like there's an early 20th century influence in some of the categories you already mention.

My personal interest is in round-toe, Mary Jane, t-strap, and exotics.

Oh, square toe seems to be a bit of a sleeper trend ...

PS I might say peep toe rather than open toe ... you can see it in more than one of your examples, continuing from last couple seasons (at least) ...

OMG! THey look exactly like pointe shoes. They even have a platform to balance on. All you need now is satin ribbons.

in addition to the supercute glitter, this one, (From saks.com) also incorperates the maryjane trend, the peeptoe trend, the wood heel trend, and the bow micro-trend

pinksatin, I once had the most beautiful and comfortable pair of pale gold pointe ballet flats. They were heavenly, glove leather, and went with everything ... I wish I could remember who made them, all I know is I got them at Saks.

The Miu Mius are darling, but not for me I will be wearing different shoes on my yellow brick road
