Hello :flower:

I was just wondering (don't know where to post this)

What age and sex are your little ones?

What do you look for when buying clothing for your child/ren in…..
Colours/patterns
Style
Cuts (eg pants, dresses etc)
Materials
Fastenings

What do you *usually* buy for…..
Summer
Winter

What would you *like* to buy for...
Summer
Winter

What are you prepared on average to spend on a *single item* of clothing for your child?

Any other info/help would be great!

Thanks so much for your time! :flower:

What age and sex are your little ones? 3 months old girl

What do you look for when buying clothing for your child/ren in…..

Colours/patterns - I try to avoid candy pink, shocking pink, purple mixed w. burgundy
-There is a lot of red, babyblue, cream and 70ies green and brown (there is a lot of babypink in her wardrobe but thats mainly presents) I dislike babyclothes that are over embellished,...I'm really picky to the point that my friends have bought toys instead of clothes to my daughter because they "fear" my verdict :p

Style - any..schizo style

Cuts (eg pants, dresses etc) only 2 rules - sleepwear has to have easy access to diaper so I can change her in my sleep ;) - Clothes that are easy to get over her head

Materials - only natural materials
Fastenings - haven't developed likes and dislikes yet
What do you *usually* buy for….. haven't had her long enough to answer that
Summer
Winter

shorts:clamdigger length or above the knee, no cargo pockets

Materials -
cotton for playwear, velvet or satin for dressier/photo occassions.

Fastenings -
buttons, snaps, zippers, velcro never stays fastened

Winter - ditto^^

What are you prepared on average to spend on a *single item* of clothing for your child?
$10-$30 for clothing, $30-$40 for shoes
I buy the boutique stuff on consignment or ebay and shop overstocks & clearance, it's great if you can buy ahead!

Any other info/help would be great!
-roomy fit at first means they'll wear it longer

-quality & durability are worth it, you'll be able to hand it down

-my favorite shoes are super flexible and gentle for developing toesies...especially important for prewalkers and first steps (I get Robeez shoes but there are others just like those i.e. bobux, see kai run, elefanten, etc.)

What age and sex are your little ones? My girl is 1½ yrs.

What do you look for when buying clothing for your child/ren in…..
Colours/patterns If the dress/pants/shirts are nice I buy it - Don't really care about colors. Well not too much pink, shocking pink.
Style Again, if I like the dress/pants/shirts ...
Cuts (eg pants, dresses etc) Don't care about cuts, again if i like...
Materials Like Hanne, natural material.
Fastenings

What do you *usually* buy for…..
Summer This is only my girl's second summer, and the rain is pouring down. But I have bought a lot of tees, skirts, knickers and dresses.
Winter Snowsuits, stockings, ls shirts, pants, hats, gloves, no scarfs!!

What would you *like* to buy for...
Summer I buy what I want. She has only been here 1½ yrs, so my experience in buying her clothes isn't quite developed
Winter Snowsuits, stockings, ls shirts, pants, hats, gloves, no scarfs!!

What are you prepared on average to spend on a *single item* of clothing for your child? Hmmm, money is not an option. I buy what I want as long as it is in good fabrics.

Any other info/help would be great!
It is very important in my daughters wardrobe, that she is able to play and move without problems, ie nothing too tight except bodystockings.

www.katvig.dk is a brand I like very much. (is it allowed to link?)

If you have more questions, feel free to ask.

To be honest she is probably the least dressed little baby in Denmark..whereas a lot of people are afraid their baby will catch a cold I'm more concerned with her feeling too hot because she is such a little heater...people are always asking me if she isn't cold when they see how little I've put on her and I tell them to touch her and they change their minds. :D

Hello :flower:

I was just wondering (don't know where to post this)

What age and sex are your little ones? she is a one year old baby girl

What do you look for when buying clothing for your child/ren in…..
Colours/patterns Something girly but not to oviously girly if that makes sense :p
Style something that is cute or a mini style of a popular trend atm
Cuts (eg pants, dresses etc) pants normally bootcut as her mum says its easier for her to put her shoes on her with this cut, dress are normally very loose she hates things clinging to her, basicly something thats cofy and easy for her to get into and doesnt restrict her play. But no too easy to get out of other wise she will strip lol
Materials I tend to buy her cottons and wools and nateral materials
Fastenings Easy and something that wont dig into her

What do you *usually* buy for…..
Summer Summer i bought her a mini bikini ... so cute and lots of cute tees and skirts and a cute sun hat (very important for babies) i also bught her a mini kaftan ... so sweet. Seems as shes not my kid this is all i have bought her this summer.

I have also bought her lots of cute cardigans. I also bought her a mini cashmere scarf .. which she loves the feel of. I bought her some mini fake uggs last winter so sweet, she has mini dm's and timberlands too :P

What would you *like* to buy for...
