Two or three years ago , a shop in Manchester , that I have referred to in less than glowing terms before , specialising in Yohji Yamamoto Mainline , stocked some VERY nice Yohji - type pieces by Shu Moriyama , who I was assured by the shop owner , was a studio design assistant ( could have been the ' Ys for Men ' team ) , of Yohji , and destined for greater things .
Have you any idea what has become of him . I did track down on GOOGLE , a reference to a shop in Germany that stocked his women's line , but lately , no joy .
I do hope that you do not mind my asking , as you are our resident expert on these obscure Japanese lines , and one DOES like to keep up , even here on the top of the windy Pennines in ' that piss-pot little country ' , commonly called the UK .
