Sienna Miller doesn't look a bit like Edie. Maybe the looks aren't much of a problem for a start but I'm not sure about her acting either.

I think Wynona would be perfect. My second choice would be Keira.

LATEST: GWEN STEFANI has rubbished reports she's set to join SIENNA MILLER in the upcoming movie FACTORY GIRL.

It was reported last week (ends12AUG05) that the RICH GIRL singer, who portrayed JEAN HARLOW in THE AVIATOR, had signed on to join JUDE LAW's fiancee in the film.

It was said Stefani would play RICHIE BERLIN, the roommate of ANDY WARHOL's muse EDIE SEDGWICK played by Miller.

But the blonde beauty insists, "That's a big rumour. I'm not doing it."

Stefani's husband GAVIN ROSSDALE is reportedly set to star in the movie, however.

^THANK GOD!! I'm glad she's not going to be in it because i want this movie to be good! They shouldn't have someone that big play any of the factory people. And have you seen Richie Berlin? Gwen looks nothing like her! I wonder who will play her now though....

Gavin is not confirmed either...and it's most likely he's not in it as well. He and gwen are touring around the same time FG is set to film. He was on loveline and drew asked him about film projects and he said he has nothing for the rest of the year. The people at Factory Girl are only into attracting attention by throwing names here and there w/o even stating confirmations from the actors...apparently when sienna was out they just started naming all these ladies that might play edie which turned out to be untrue. Gwen and gavin's names were attached to the film early in the year but never once confirmed, but gwen's name did draw attention to the movie at the time since the sienna/jude drama didn't happen yet.

I'm a bit scared for this poor movie since most of the Hollywood brats are sporting overgrown Ediesque eyebrows - Lindsay Lohan most prominently so. This, to me, might suggest that she has her eyes on this role.

Exactly what I thought! I know Lindsay was going after the role - it was obvious. Because, she's like, 'an indie quirky actress with talent!' I had a dream last night where I asked Lindsay if she was going to play Marlyin Monroe in movie based on her life and she said yes

I think you're talking about Andrea "Whips" Feldman. Brigid's still very much alive, as is Richie.

I don't know much about Lindsay, except what I can't help knowing. One look at those eyebrows was enough to know what she was going for

Thankfully and hopefully Sienna has now snatched the role back for good. I shouldn't say too much about Lindsay's acting capacity as I haven't seen her in any movie. At the face of it Sienna seems like a much better choice than all other candidates...
