Sienna Miller: Doesn't believe in Monogamy

she really comes across as such an immature little girl.....
its sad.....

I know. Bring the publicist from now on. Her 15 are almost up

I think she's just a Style Icon not a great actress... and she yeah she's just full of herself .... maybe because she is British.. and Hollywood treats foreign actors /tresses like royalty when they are not. I think that her comments on Pittsburg are awful.....

Reading both articles she just comes across as immature and spoilt. I don't know she just seems the type of person who looks around to make sure everybody is looking at them.

That's b/c she got cheated on and keeps getting back with the WRONG guy.

exactly, and I think she's trying to justify it with that statement... like she's heard Jude's excuses enough that she's starting to adapt them

^^ WORD. I imagine she was firmly in favor of monogamy before Jude started shagging the nanny. Now she's all, oh we can't expect people to be faithful b/c we're animals at heart. Methinks she's laying the groundwork for the next time Jude gets caught. I mean he's obviously not going to quit screwing around when Sienna is willing to play doormat.

Funny how in the past she was threatening the nanny (but not her cheating ex fiancee) and now she's fine with him cheating on her. I suppose we're supposed to think Sienna is so enlightened?

I'm sorry but she's a spoilt brat. She's famous for dressing like a slob and lately she's been looking worse and worse. In truth she's famous for wearing every trend at once and dating Jude and that's it. It's no wonder she won't leave him and that her outfits are getting more bizarre, she's gotta stay in the public eye somehow.

Sienna always struck me as being rather alike the character she played in Alfie with the crazy mood swings and drug binges.

I love that "apology". How does shitsburgh gets miscontrued? She's trying to save her *** because she hopes Harvey W. is going to push her for an oscar for Factory Girl. Here's hoping that doesn't happen as then she'll be really insufferable and we'll never get rid of her.

i dont hate her.....
and i dont blame her for falling in love with jude law....
in fact, until this little snippet of an interview, ive really felt completely neutral about her behaviour....

but she just comes across as completely immature and brash....
it would be nice to see a bit more humility and a bit more grace...
but thats just my feeling.....

At the end of the day I agree with her about monogamy but I still know what you mean about the humility and grace. The word 'brash' is absolutely perfect. There is nothing graceful about her. Keira Knightley in my opinion throws in too many 'f*cks' for my liking and it seems a little forced 'I am down with the people' talk. However, Keira is so likable and charming it works. It is not about gracefulness in the traditional Audrey Hepburn way -because Keira is too boyish for that.... but it is more about gracefulness of personality. Sienna is just awful.

Still it is probably worth remembering that they ask her these questions and they probably ask the same ones over and over again so I would probably end up giving contrary, exasperated answers too and who knows what I would come up with.

I really think she said that as sort of a defense mechanism. I mean, the girl was publically humiliated when her man cheated on her and now has taken him back. I am sure that she said those things to try and look like the cool girlfriend who doesn't care what her man does and to try and make it seem like she didn't crumble to bits when Jude cheated on her because it was expected. All it really did for me was make me like her less because she could have phrased her words in a...shall I say, more eloquent way.

Well it was her choice to take him back, only she hasn't just taken him back one time, they've been on and off ever since he was caught cheating. Righta fter he cheated and got caught, they got back together but then Sienna declared that they were just friends. She had movies opening around that time - Casanova was one and I'm not sure if she thought she was going to get really famous and wouldn't need Jude anymore. Ever since then they've been on and off more times than I can count. It's not a healthy relationship and Sienna comes off as behaving like a doormat at times and a crazy, tantrum throwing psycho ex gf at others.

Sorry but this doesn't explain away her rant about "Shittsburgh" and her "poor little me I'm stuck in this horrible city" rant.

Not only that but when you are pretty much only famous for dating a famous actor and he cheats on you then it's not too much of a stretch to think that people are going to want to ask you about it. If she can't string together a nice, coherent response that doesn't smack of being obnoxious and smug then she should find a less demanding career.

LOVE that line, and right you are!

I strongly feel she didn't feel this way before Jude banged the nanny.
Or else why would she have gotten engaged?

I'd like to add that we are human beings not animals. We are the most intelligent form of life on this planet Sienna. There's no need to degrade the human race because you and your man are permiscuous and cannot control yourselves.

i'm starting to find it amazing that everyone in this thread is actually AGREEING....
or is it that the die-hard sienna fans are keeping away....:innocent:

and now wants to apologize...o k a y.....

That is a highly subjective opinion style-savvy. We are almost discussing science vs religion/culture here. Many scientists would say that there is no such thing as a soul and that our consciences and every emotion we feel is because of biology... that it all comes down even to string-theory and the theory of everything.

Just saying that some of you put across this point of view as though it is fact when that that is definately not the case. What Sienna said was essentially true in my opinion, but it was more a case of the necessity of saying it, and the crude way in which she put it across.

^But at the end of the day, *real* animals don't have true feelings. Human beings (well most of them anyway) were made with things like morals, guilt, love, respect, disrespect, melancholy, etc...
And the animal father almost never becomes attached to its offspring. And the mothers only lasts so long until they force the child to become independent and that's THAT.

We're very different from animals in the sense that most of us "humans" are not cut and dry with things like relationships, etc...

I respect your opinion, but I disagree as a whole.

I just cannot like this women.

I also don't think she stand out in Looks , intelligence or talent. Though her parents have contacts and money. Her stepmum was in Tatler a few months ago.

ah but most behavioralists would disagree with everything you said. There is tons of scientific research showing animals- esp. primates- have and exhibit each of the "feelings" you described above. The only difference I would say is sophistication and degree- which I *think* SIN was referring to.
