there is also a plug-in program to illistrator called Snap Fashion which gives you technical sketches of trendy garments and embellishments. It makes producing my technicals so much easier.

does anyone know where this "snap fashion" plugin can be found? it sounds like EXACTLY what I need....

first i wanna say that youre absolutely gorgeous..^_^ and as for the pics, they are cute and the designs are interesting. it looks like you are still trying to find your "style" when it comes to sketching... its best to have one as it helps you to be recognizable. also, if you always keep in mind proportion and balance which are *key* , you will draw some very nice pictures. keep up the good work~ :flower:
That's not me in my display pic, it's Miranda Kerr, her. And thanks for the feedback... :) I find it really hard to get my proportion's right :(

is that a sketch by tom ford?

If that pic is from a website called Metro Fashion, it is an artists rendering of the actual runway outfit...they also have them for the Fall 2002 collections

old dior sketches... probably from the late 1920s
Dior wasn't established until 1947, but even still, those designs don't look like they're from the 20's/30's era, too much emphasis on the waist in that ballgown, and the pink fluffy coat is very 50's couture looking shapewise.
