used to enjoy this but i've noticed its getting far too popular for its own good, everyone is wearing them over here for spring, saw them at least on five girls yesterday, the tackiest was with rhinestones on black t-shirt,,, :(

It can be done in a good way, but most of these pictures posted here are too tacky and fake/trendy/cute for me.

That's my opinion.:flower:

^ i'm only talking of what i saw down the street, they are adopted by just about anyone, to me sculls can look a bit silly worn by 'clean cut' girls or middle aged mothers, but pay no attention, its just my personal opinion (no universal truth)

i still believe sculls are fun and can be worn in a real funky way ;)

I own a black t shirt with a skull on it. Had it since 1987 or so. Was a hand-me-down from my eldest sister, who'd worn it since Metallica's 1984 "Kill 'Em All" tour. Good to know it's trendy & all. It may well be older than some of us posting here...

I have a red shirt with a white skull on it, and the skull has some flower thingies on its top... haha it's funny.

i like this trend, but only when it's done in a subtle way...

i'm not a fan of the items posted on this page because i think they're too "in your face"

i bought a shirt a few weeks ago... sleeveless grey deep v-neck with a hood that has little silver skulls printed all over it... you have to come close up to see that they are skulls which I like because it is subtle and unexpected

i still like skulls, even though its currently being flogged like a dying horse by everyone and their mothers. i liked when my little top and little bag charms were a little bit of a weird thing to have.

I was set on buying an am skull scarf but didnt have money, and when Id saved up enough, a few months ago, was when it started popping up in all the magazines and it turned me off, to be honest. But I like skulls in general. There is a cute skull bag by wylde is it?

I hate it when skulls done all cutesy and makes you look like a 13 year old scene girl though. For examples just look at delias.com on how NOT to wear skulls :innocent:

I'm not a fan of the cartoonish ones either. I like lots of bone detail and silhouettes. I'm really sick of the pirate inspired ones.

Admittedly, I recently actually bought a non-McQueen skull scarf. It doesn't look like McQueens but I doubt they would have been available if not for McQueen. I've always tried to stay away from 'inspired' or imitation clothing but I rationalized this one because I would have bought it if McQueen never did it. B) I only wish I got it in a bigger size...

I was just thinking about this today... I've been seeing skulls everywhere. I like them. :) I have a skull necklace.

I think part of why skulls are all over the mall right now is because Pirates of the Caribbean 2 is about to be released. Kids are gonna buy in to the pirate fever and decide they need the skull sh*t.

I'm not a big fan of skulls as a trend. Over here it is really really mainstream and not in a good way. I'm tired of seeing skulls being worn in an unclassy way.

I like the new skulls trend, especially the McQueen scarf. Makes me feel like a "corpse bride" ...

I must admit, I'm loving this picture - I would wear definitely wear it. In general, however, I think the skull thing has been done to death (no pun intended). I don't plan on sporting skulls anytime soon.
