any particular brands or stores that have that? really want a pair

The wonderous jeans of healthy-eating and excercise are a sure hit.

I don't think they asked you for tips on weight loss, PrinceOfCats. If you couldn't answer her question, you should of just kept your typing fingers from making you look like a complete ***.

Edit: Sorry I couldn't be more helpful, rory0907. :)

I was making the point that if you think you need to be slimmer then you have a body-image problem not a jeans problem, material possesions don't equal hapiness and all that Jazz...

ok my sister has a curvier body and i was just asking for some jeans that will make her more comfortable and self confident. if she loses weight she gets sick...shes only 14....and if you want a slimmer pair of jeans it doesnt mean you have body issues:rolleyes:

buggy its ok :)

yeah I'm going to go with rory and buggy on this one. You can be happy with your body and still want a sleeker look. Anyway I would suggest she just go and try them on. Generally speaking, darker washes are going to be more flattering without lots of 'extras'. Some minor distressing is fine, but if it gets over the top it's going to draw attention to problematic areas.

It depends what kind of curvy she is. If she is bigger through the hips and thighs I would suggest James or p,d&c for fit. If you have a pair of jeans that fit great, they will make your body look the best it can.

If you're looking for larger sizes, Express sizes are larger than jeans like Sevens, etc.

i think stretchy denim low rise look great on curvy bodies! i dont have too many curves 2 work with but my best friend does and everytime i see her in a pair of low rise stretch levi's i feel like ringing her neck for having the curves i wish i had! :) i hope it helps...and i also agree....wanting good slimmng jeans dont mean u have body issues, it just means ur a typical woman frustrated with the yuck jeans that r out there...TRUST ME I CAN RELATE! best of luck finding that perfect pair & when u do, keep us posted!! ;)

yeah, go for a bit of stretch in the jeans, pockets that are closer together minimize the butt too...

American Eagle has jeans made to fit bigger hips. I forget what the type is called but thats what I buy in a dark wash. They also sell then in different washes and styles. But I LOVE them, they fit like a glove!!

Good luck!

thanks, theres quite a few styles there, do u happen to know which one it is?

same issues here- true religion fit well, as do my james and bootcut sevens but my sister's AE ones look very good on her- she's way curvier than i am- and my james look amazing when she wears them... very slimming and flattering- I'm always "urgh not fair!"

yea ive heard seven jeans are very flattering. southern, since u own a pair, r they really worth 150 dollars? i usually wont spend more then 60 but if they fit well & r as flattering as they say, ill b willing 2 stretch the price just this once :)

AE jeans are great... plus if you can't find your size in the store it's almost always availale online. I got a pair of really great jeans from banana for xmas... dark wash.. no distress.. they're nice. almost like denim trousers... i suppose.. but flattering to my hips.

Levis has one called something like "Tuxedo Jean" or "Tuxedo Trouser" and they're roughly $100/pr.

They're a more trouser style, wider leg goes straight down. They're INCREDIBLY flattering on those with more weight on the bottom, and they're a very easy style to either dress up or down.

Ever heard of Miss Sixty's jeans that contain something that is supposed to eliminate cellulite?

I think maybe the type is the Favorite Jeans? I'm not quite sure but I have a couple of the different types and that seems to be right. But I'm not sure.

i own a pair of sevens and i am in love with them. i wear them constantly. i don't know how big your sister is- if she is normal but with curves, i'd go for sevens. . . they're def. worth the 130 i paid for em. if she's bigger, weight-wise, then not too many jeans are going to look "slimming". . . but, if you're not against target, go there and check out the mossimo jeans- tons of sizes, and they're generic jeans- i love mine, and my friend who is a beautiful, heavier, curvy woman looks great in hers.

It's the hippster fit. I love them to death and have even had one of my pairs for about 3 years now
