a few years ago, in 2001, the japanese magazine did a special issue on the japanese design 'guru' Sori Yanagi. in the issue, several designers paid homage to Yanagi and designed some pieces incorporating a textile design by Yanagi. amongst them was Hirofumi Kiyonaga, the founder of the japanese label SOPH., or SOPHNET as it is known now (?). only 2 closeup images of a jacket or shirt and pants were shown; but two very enticing images showing very kool detailing. i cannot find any information on this; can anyone help? were the items ever put into production? if so, is it still possible to acquire them?

also, Kiyonaga seems to be quite active in a variety of activities beyond just fashion... as are most of the influential japanese designers. seems like a default of their culture... would be an interesting topic to pick up discussing...

thanks runner :) i know the sites already; just can't seem to locate info on the particular designs i mentioned.
