I'm pretty sure she's biracial.

she's the adopted daughter of Lionel Richie and her biological father was Mexican, not black.

Actually, according to imdb, she is of Caucasian, Black Creole and Mexican decent.

Her father is cuban someone posted it in another post, I guess that's where her "black decent" comes from since most cubans have some black in them. But her father looks more latin than black.
