Valentina Sampaio has a spread inside! :crush:.

That's definitely the highlight of the issue.

Given she was a Miss Universe you would think Olivia would look the prettiest but she photographs kind of harsh. I love Jasmine Sanders here.

The group cover just doesn't work, Jasmine's hair and makeup styling looks off, and Olivia looks like a Kardashian.
The other girl is pretty, but it could really have been anyone. They'd have been better Valentina the cover, OG. Not just to make a statement, but she's prettier than all these girls combined. Some would have hated that but this brand is dead anyway. May as well drum up some controversy.

I dont get it, Yu Tsai work outside of SI Swim is fine, but he just drops the ball when it comes to SI. His color grading, and retouching is utterly terrible, and SI just chose the worst group shot. As for the magazine who the hell knows what it even is anymore, is it targeting men? Is it targeting women? They've caused themselves a pretentious bag of identity crisis. The whole thing is more or less a money grab, they aren't selling the sexy models, and good photography anymore, they are selling the swimsuits which is probably why the images look so bad. I hope Valentina Sampaio's, Robin Holzken's, and Josephine Skriver's sets aren't completely awful. May they should have put all three of them on the cover, why not?

Those 80´s inspired swimsuits makes me uncomfortable.
The way they accentuates skinny girls’s bones is kinda disgusting.

That being said, nobody can say the issue isn’t diverse.

I am mesmerised by the shot of Robin in the pink swimsuit with her head back, wow! She looks great.

Anyway I think SI at least deserves credit for ID-ing the models. I wish all magazines would always credit them, they deserve it!

I really like Wyoming’s stories. It reminds me of good old days of GQ

3rd cover... that is seriously the saddest, cheapest-looking bikini top I have ever seen on a cover. Makes me want to take her shopping. Just, why... who could've styled that?

I don't know who the majority of these women are, some just look so pedestrian in that sorority type of way but I guess it keeps the mechanics and carpenters active so that's okay. I do notice some mild improvement from previous years in terms of, again, bikinis sizing and less raunchy poses.

Honestly the only standout for me is maybe Kelsey Merrit, Emily DiDonato and of course Hyunjoo Hwang.. I didn't know who she was so I looked her up.. turns out these pics (as expected) don't do her much justice, she is much nicer to look at while training (ballet).

I don't mind the bikini's that Lola is referring to, just glad we are seeing less of this bikini bottom which I find quite hideous:

Also, I hope this is just a photoshop blunder and not the actual cut of Huynjoo's bikini because it looks like it could very easily result in a wardrobe malfunction.

I do agree that the entire issue seems more tamer this year, but Wyoming is stunning. Love the styling and setting maybe because it's such a departure from the usual 'sun and sea' setup. Also, Robin Holzken is a cutie! All her shots are winners. Not that impressed with Valentina's shots. The hair!

And I believe Kim Riekenberg also did ballet training......

The photography and the retouching, and color grading is just so bad.

The cover edit isn’t that good, but I like the rest. A big upgrade in quality compared to past issues imo.
