This is the thread where you can locate your must wanted items....designer, high street or vintage - lets get spotting!

I will start - has anyone seen the Stella McCartney jumpsuit anywhere?

Such a good idea Miss Bradshaw, we will be sure to post here if we see it anywhere around town :)

NAP. Have you tried stella? When meowmix was there she tried it on. Said it was quite loose in the legs I think. She said sienna must have definately had it taken in.

Missbradshaw, Matches has it in a size 40 and I asked the SA to call around their other shops -- no luck. That is the last one they have!

I took a look at the construction and it could definitely be taken in easily.

Meg, the legs are supposed to be a bit loose, I think.

hi beaumonde.....thanks so much! I managed to find it in Matches - I think I prob got the last 38. I am going to try it tomorrow - so excited! Its not cheap but I think its an investment item.

Us london gals should have a fashion meet!

Congrats Missbradshaw! It is such an amazing design. The Matches SAs are so friendly and knowledgeable. I had a conversation about NY fashion v. London fashion with one of them.

Agreed on a fashion meet!

I need advice on a Burberry trench. I tried on a double breasted that can be worn with flaps buttoned down and a single breasted with a princess cut to it. But will a lightweight trench be ok under London's spring drizzle and wind? My heavier weight Marc Jacobs jacket from last spring has all sorts of pilling and unpleasantness. (Yes, I'm already off topic!)

I saw a girl wearing the double breasted one yesterday - it was lovely

Yes it will be fine - it should start warming up soon!

One more question for the English ladies -- where can I find a nice hat for Ascot? I tried the department stores and no luck. Or is it too early in the season? (Btw, a friend said I should rent one for the day?)

Very confused American writing here...

Good luck, let us know how it goes. If you wanted to invest you could always go straight to a milliner's shop. Philip Treacy or even better Stephen Jones (not sure if thats his name....will check back....but his shop is in Holborn on King St. or Queen St. or something quite similar)

^Yup...it is indeed Stephen Jones on Great Queen Street in Covent Garden.

Failing that, Fortnum and Masons has a wonderful hat department..... it's a one stop drop for Ascot goers....

Does anyone know who sells Anna Sui in London? there are so many pretty things from s/s 06 that I want to try on....

really? I've never seen her stuff there. thanks for the tip victim.

Yup...Victim is right...Harvey Nicks is the only place that I know that stocks Anna Sui's stuff...... it's SO hard to find here for some reason! Which is why I tend to wait to go back to Hong Kong and then buy it there....coz it's much cheaper too!

boo. I was actually hoping to try stuff on and then order it in from the states. But thanks for the tip off. I'll have to make extra sure to watch out for it there.

ooh I love Anna Sui too, but like you its not in enough stores. I always get my pieces from NAP and then you can return them in necessary (I have never returned one Anna Sui piece as they seem to fit me really well)

you have great taste Meg :)

Where can I find a store that stocks Giorgio Armani make up, not just in London, but also in the rest of the UK?
