the heel on that Steve Madden looks seriously wrong. the ruching on front and the silver all look cheap.

I saw them in person today at the store on Prince...

They're actually pretty decent quality when I looked them over.. I even tried a pair on.

Once again, I like to think of my Steve Madden as Manolo Blahnik training wheels.

The real ones are so hard to get even if you've got the money. I want them. They're obviously not as good as the Manolos seeing as they're four times less money. But I love the style and I always will.

US shoe designer/retailer with factories in Spain and China,

Making Manolo copies because there is a customer demand for them. An opportunity to make sales to girls who love Carrie and don't have the budget to afford Manolos perhaps?
