Lol no your not crazy.I want to get a collection going of every Vogue Italia I can get my hands on, they're so great. The thing is Vogue Italia is super expensive ,and on ebay they can be up to 30 dollars per issue.Flea markets and old book stores are probably my best bet ,I know the possibility of there being Vogue Italias there(or any foreign fashion magazine for that matter) is pretty slim ,but I love looking anyway.Recently a library near me put a bunch of old Elle's and Allures from 2003 and older in a crate marked free magazines, and I took a bunch of them but stupidly opted to not take all of them for some random reason. The thing is it doesn't really matter to me what the magazine is ,I just love having a ton of magazines to look at, old or new.And if they're free than the more the merrier! I really want to keep goign back there and see if they get rid of more Elle's and old Vogue's.There was a vanity fair from 1992 with Candace Burgen on the cover and I bought it thinking it would be filled to the brim with 90's goodness. It was a bit dull like any vanity fair, but I still am happy I have it.They do have 1960's vogues in their archives so I just might have to check those out one day.
Yes, the images are a bit grainy ,most likely due to the quality of the site they were on.
I love Kim's edit too, and Riane's.It's hard for me to not like a Meisel edit, the model choices and locations are always so intriguing.
