I have to say... I don't fully agree...
Stila's shadows are great. Vey well pigmented, great colors... I just touched their big blush and powder brushes and I have to get those!!!!! The lipsticks are very good, etc.
But... It's the packaging... I think that in the beginning they were great and it was a very innovative idea, plus the dolls were cute. But the dolls give an image they don't want to give (I was talking to someone at a counter this week in Madrid and she said that people will go to them thinking Stila is cheap as an option for make up for 13 y.o. kids who want to play with make up because the doll gives the impression that the products will be cheap, which is absolutely not true...). And the dolls give me no ideas about the looks Stila stands behind, etc...
So I'd keep the doll but I'd start looking for real models as well. Jeanine Lobell created the dolls because she had no money for models when she started. Well... That period is over now and it's time to grow up a bit, but the products are still excellent.
