Stretch Marks

I have them on the front of my stomach and right under my arm. I think this might be the fact that Im only 15 and due to weight loss right? Aggh this sucks that Im the only guy I know who has them.
My friend who is sixteen has stretchmarks, and he had them when he was 15, and got them because he gained a lot of mass (in muscle)

You get stretch marks if you either lose a lot or gain a lot of sizre in a short timeframe.

hey im also 16, and i and almost all my friends have stretch marks. in differnet places tho, breats, theighs, bum. my doctor said they fade... so im just waiting.

babygurl i have been trying pure shea butter, its hard to put it on but its starting to fade them a little... I put Bio Oil on the other ones on my ***...

But i don't understand why the ones on my breasts are red/purple? Will they eventually turn white???

I got some on my breast like you princess_tess they are kinda red...thats just cuz they are new...they'll fade after a while....I hope soon cuz I hate it because I hate a growth spurt and grew up a size in a matter of months.

Can you take out stretch marks with scar laser removal?

Go to the dermatologist while the marks are still red. They're mucheasier to get rid of at this stage. He might prescribe Tazorac

Guys, I hate to say this, but it is highly unlikely that any of the common cocoa butter preparations will work on stretch marks.

Stretch marks are a breakdown of collagen just under the dermis, and no topical moisturizer will penetrate . . . with the possible exception of high dose Vitamin E oils and creams, and a few prescription creams.

They do get lighter with time, and laser treatments look promising.

Sephora_, thats exactly when I got mine, my growth spurt and I went up two cup sizes!! I went to a specialist and he said he could remove the ones on my breasts because they were still red, he told me it was $4000 to have four sessions of laser removal... Mum is still paying off our house so she said no for the moment.. Do you guys know of anything cheaper that would get rid of them? He didn't prescribe me anything either? Is there anything you can take cos these reddy ones don't seem to be fading in a hurry

lol, what does being a virgin have anything to do with having stretch marks or not?

who listed virginity in their list of symptoms? :o

I have stretch marks across my hips. Most of you seem to be dismayed by them, but I have always found them beautiful I don't remember them ever being red. They shine, almost metallic. They remind me of silvery spiderwebs, in dewy mornings. They are a part of me that speaks about my growth as a woman, and I would never dismiss them so lightly.

Just wanted to offer another point of view.

:flower:

Hmmm... wish i shared the same attitude as you enrichi!
Do red ones fade slowly cos mine seem to just stay there, sometimes they look redder and sometimes they look they are fading... :(

I was cursed with many stretch marks while I was going through puberty. I began to fill out and because I was only 11 years old, I didn't even think about treating them because I really didn't know what they were. Now that I have slimmed down, I am stuck with faded stretch marks all over my thighs, breast and sides and I want them gone! Is there anything that I can do now to fade them even more? Please help because I dread wearing a bathing suit or having to look at them eveytime I get undressed.

Well I'm pregnant and expanding rapidly..sofar I haven't run into any stretchmarks..but it's still early in the running..so who knows.

Anyways, every morning after shower and every night right before bedtime I rub my tummy and boobs with a selfmade mix of Almond-oil (contains Vitamin E) blended with Vitamin E oil and Mandarin oil.

I'll let you all know if it does the trick in about 5 months time ;)

you get stretch marks from growing? whoa....i never got any...even with my 6 inch growth sprut.
