Stretch Marks

^^ Me too, in the UK you can get it from chemists (if they don't have it on the shelf they can usually order it for you), Superdrug have it too but I think it's a little more expensive. Otherwise, like SarahJayne said ebay would probably have it.

I definitely recommend it

sigh. I have both and I'm only 14, 5'5 and about 115 pounds.

im a little older but i have both too and i'm a twig..it's just growing up and genetics. get into good work out habits and youll be fine

I'm 15 and I've got them on my legs and on my ***.. one time I was even crying because of them
I've read all the post but I didn't understand: using vitamin E oils will hep only to reddish strech marks or there is some hope for white too?
I've used since January L'Oreals strechmark corrector but I can see no change :(

i massage vitamin e oil onto mine 1-2 times a day, usually after a shower/bath and i have seen improvement, even within just a week or so. keep your skin moisturized and it will look better.

should I use mederma? I have horrible ones on my inner thighs, a purply color, and on my hips..so embarrasing!

When I was 13 I grew from 5'5 to 5'7, and that growth cause me to have stretch marks on the back of my knees... their like pretty much not visible now but i have a couple on my thighs from muscle growth during soccer training... agh! Im sorry to say but coco butter doesnt really help all that much... Someone said that perscription would work better and I agree. I used a cream from the pharmacy used for scars and that seemed to heal it. Also the sooner you get to treating it the better (when they are purplish/red). After that, you have to just let time do its thing.

theres a body balm that prevents them too...my sis in law used it when she was pregnant and she has no stretch marks on her belly...and to get rid just keep em moisturized to keep elasticity of the skin...

that exactly what i was going to say..
u see i had those back when i was like 14 b\c of a sudden weigh gain, didnt take care of it neither moisturize it nor used any treatment and now, they are like slightly noticable when i lost that weight and more :yuk:
look, the key word here is "moisturizing" and it's better to do it from the first day u notice those suckers :flower:

I have them on my shoulders, hips and thighs for many years . I am using the Naturalis stretch mark treatment cream . I've been using this product just about a month now and it is working very well for me.I didnt expect this fast results but hey I am not complaining just being thanful lol  . Notice the white/silvery colour has actually shrinking in size and the shoulders and hips faded the most ….definitely loads better !;)

where can i get naturalis stretch mark treatment cream...???... And i was wondering also about the bio-oil... does it work for stretch marks that have already gone white??...because i no its almost impossible to get rid of white stretch marks...since they've already scarred. how much is it in retail?

im somewhat pale with my load stretchmarks from my adolescent "just a lil more than enough" baby fat. mine are white now- but can they fade ( or be better hidden) with a tan?

people keep saying to moisturize soo I was thinking..wouldn't Baby Oil be really good for stretch marks??

Well it's nice to know I'm not the only one. I have them on my breasts, thighs/hips and on the back of my knees, thanks to puberty. I really hate it and am self-conscious. Mainly about the ones on my hips, they're thicker than the others. I don't know what to do about it since they're white. But at least you guys made me feel a little better about it.

I doubt it, I moisturize almost every day and I have them on my butt and behind my legs. They aren't that noticable but they get on my nerves.

I have to ask: What really works?

I'm starting to try Aloe vera..it's sort of working. I'm going to start working out more though..hopefully that mixed with the Aloe will at least fade them a bit (they're still purple)

your stretch marks are going to fade if they are purple or red. THey always do. The fact is, you want to minimize the appearance of the white scars. To do that, you have to use brands on the purple fresh stretch marks first. Once they're white, there's no going back. HOwever, I am hearing things about bio-oil and how it reduces already white scars from people from this forum. But i havn't used them so I don't really know. I've been using retin A forever and they have reduced the appearance of my white stretchmarks, but i used it when my stretchmarks were purple. ITs less noticable than the stretchmarks that i got without treatment. ANY BODY WANT TO CONFIRM BIO-OIL"S effectiveness please.
