summer 2005

has anyone discussed summer 2005 songs?

my latest top beach jam is 'come rain, come shine' by jenn cuneta.
it's a pop dance track that is about to explode and you cannot miss it cos it samples wings' 'silly love songs.' - and very cleverly & effectively imo.

i am not aware of paul mccartney allowing any beatles songs to be sampled to this point [distinct from TV commercial usage of actual beatles tracks i.e. the nike 'revolution' commercial etc].

another notable summer songs is st etienne's 'sidestreets' 45, breezy english mid-60s soft vocal pop that the ets do so so well.
