Superfine Jeans

Does anyone know of any stores in Europe - London or Paris - that currently have Superfine tees in stock?? I have looked at Printemps, Bon Marche, Liberty and Colette with no luck so far - have any of you guys seen any around? Or is it simply still too early in the season? TIA

they are shipping me next week, so i would imagine that everyone else is somewhat on the same schedule. try the stores next friday!

btw i hope you find the tees because they are always so fabulous -- i think there is a great button one and a great star one for spring. for fall they did an awesome '80s looking one and another star one.

Thanks for answering! :flower: Would the size 1 be appropriate for me, if the size 24 Liberty is slightly loose?

size 1 is the smallest size. they go from 1 to 4 in all non-jean styles, including t-shirts, sweaters, jackets, etc.

oh yes, 24 is totally a 1.

it depends on the block, but sometimes 1 is a little bigger than 24. sometimes it seems about the same.

OK, I'll keep thinking about the purchase. You haven't, by any chance, tried on the jumpsuit?

Btw, gurej.com has Superfine gloves, long tees, and a waistcoat (vest). They are all on sale. The salespeople at the store are super-courteous and helpful. Nice subtle bohemian feel to the clothing selection too!

If you go on the matches website under lookbook they have a superfine section there (there are some tee's there) you can add your name to their wishlist and they will contact you when the item is in stock.:flower:

^ Thanks Positano and Pucci for the helpful advice:flower: As I will be in South Africa for the rest of the month, I will try Matches first as I won't be able to go to the shops until March now.

i've seen the jumpsuit on other people, but not tried it on myself.

there is a fabulous fabulous bandage jean coming in for f/w that is TDF!! they are soooo cool.

sounds good. do you have a pic of the bandage jeans? i'm curious.

i don't have pictures of the bandage b/c i accidentally deleted it trying to show it to someone :(

but i do have pics of a new black resin wash that is very very skinnifying.

and then i am weirdly intrigued with this in between jean which seemed like a stretch last season, but i think looks very easy now.

all their knitwear for f/w is gorgeous as well.

^ thanks for the pics! I like the resin wash.. is it like the waxed jeans? I tried a pair of their waxed jeans in the fall but there were barley waxy, I got a pair of goldsigns instead. The other pieces look nice too.

gg, weren't you the one who got the Liberty wax jeans as well or did you return them again? Just wondering. I thought they were pretty waxy compared to the Notify ones I tried on before.

I got a pair of 26's, they were too big too big so I exchanged for the 25's but those had barley any wax on them and were still big. I returned them and got a pair of notifies (not goldsign like I said before, got mixed up!), those had a much more waxy feel. I think it varies from pair to pair.

The bandage jeans sound really intresting.. cant wait to see pics!

Hi there. I've worn my wax Liberties a few times, and the wax is already starting to fade. Not in a bad way, but I wonder if there is a way to keep this from happening or reversing it.

Any suggestions?

I found this:

http://www.grangersusa.com/products/wax-cotton-proof.html

I ordered the jumpsuit, blondie, and wax blazer today--all for $260. So happy!^_^

the black resin is slightly reflective like the waxed look, but it's not waxy. it is very flattering...and i want to say more updated looking...

Anyone here have both superfine's and Tsubi's? I'm thiking of getting a new, slighty looser pair for spring, which brand would you go with?

^ both are great but I think I'd go with tsubi just becuase superfines are so loose in the thighs

hmm. I already own a pair of Tsubi's.. I'll think about it. Thanks GG ! (i'm btw so jealous of your purple jumbo, that's been my dream bag for as long as i can remember)
