Superfine Jeans

Oops, my mistake. They do look almost identical. It's hard to tell even in the store, under the bright light. I guess I do have the Sienna Miller ones then.

yoox has some superfine wax jeans up on their website. these are my favorite of the "wax" jeans, they aren't super shiny and are more resin treated then oily. so, if this is what you prefer go get em...

could somebody please clarify the difference between the "harry" and the "liberty"?
material? cut?
selling a pair and prospective buyer would like to know the style, as i already cut off the tag

They say that liberty is skinny, harry is strait. Butt are tight around the calves so it's more like super super skinny and skinny

can someone help me with regards to sizing? There are a couple pairs on sale in sz 31 but is the biggest size 31? I'm normally a US 10/12 or a 31/32 in waist size. Some sites say that they run small - is this true? I'm also kind of worried about GG's calf thing....

meg, I buy superfine quite a bit so maybe I can help. I find that the Harry style sit lower but have a slightly looser leg so as a US 8 or 30/31, I usually go with a 31 in these but have a 30 also. the Liberty are slimmer in the leg but generally have a higher waist, which I prefer, and I always wear a 31 in these. Superfine does come in a 32 but they are hard to find. If I were you I would try them in a 31 from yoox, so you can return them if need be and also look for a 32 just to try. the 31 should work if your hips are fairly narrow. this brand has the best true black jeans out there!

hope that helps. :flower:

Yes, I have loads of Superfine pairs myself, 9 pairs to be exact:), and I find them true to size. Though if you're a 31/32 I agree that you should go for the 31's as they stretch out and they look best if they fit you snug.

Good luck, Meg;)

thanks for the tips luckyme and karen. I was thinking of the stretch out factor since most pairs of jeans that i have stretch out to one size bigger. I'm off to search on yoox!

I'm also considering getting a pair but so far the only pair of superfines that i own are the waxed liberties. I'm usually between a 26/27 and I bought the liberties in 27 but now they have pretty much stretched out. Would it be the same with other liberties? Should I rather get a 26?

lady.stardust: 23 in J brand is exstremely small, so the 24 in Superines might be too big on you...I am a sz 25 in J brands and a sz 24 in Superfine, which fits me perfectly.

Velony: You should go for the 26, every pair of Superfines stretch out a little and there's nothing worse than jeans without shape, you know?:)

Thanks, Karen. I might just order a pair in 26 off yoox and just in case it might be too snug I can always return it. I like my jeans fitted but not too tight though.

please keep in mind that same styles even change fits from season to season. I've had this happen with blondie and liberty, so always best to try two sizes and return one.

the wax ran a little large so I'd go for a 27.
