Sorry, but... what? I don't even know your friend, Brit, and I wasn't commenting on her or you-- or anyone other than Susan. I was simply saying that Susan's ribs do look strange to me. I'm a fan of hers, but her bones stick out in a seemingly unhealthy way-- which is especially apparent when she's modeling barely-there lingerie!
I don't think I made a stupid comment at all, thanks. After all, a lot of models are under pressure to keep their weight far below what it would be naturally. Karen Elson, for one, admitted recently that she battled an eating disorder for years when she modeled. I don't know if Susan has an eating disorder-- I certainly hope that's not the case-- but she looks unnaturally thin and frail to me.
In fact, if you look at this nude picture of her with Terry Richardson, you'll see that Susan Eldrige used to be curvier, and that her ribs weren't so apparent earlier on. I wish she'd go back to looking like that. I'm tired ot the waif models getting even waifier trend.
she looks the same in that picture with terry as she does now in my opinion.......she's just not sucking in , and arching her back while posing for victoria's secret! Obviously the way she poses does that to her ribs! she does not look unhealthy at all........my ribs stick out if I dso that...and trust me-I don't have an eating disorder. I suppose I'm on ALmost Famous' side of this argumen because sometimes it seems that when it comes to models people look for anything to bring up the notion of an eating dissorder. I think she looks healthy and awesome.Good for Susan!

Exactly. Point out something, no big deal. But then to assume the girl doesn't eat, that's extremely insensitive.
It started out as an off-hand joke, for god's sake. And calling someone "stupid" isn't all that sensitive either.
Anyway, it's my opinion that Susan Eldrige is lost weight from when she started modeling, and would look much better in lingerie if she was heavier. Disagree if you want to, but kindly don't call me an idiot for thinking the way I do.

Most models do suffer from eating disorders. Whether they had one before getting into modeling, or developed one after, there's usually some kind of disorder that's been picked up. How can there not be?
It's so much about being skinnier than your competition, plus the fear of getting fat and thus losing important jobs. Who could blame them? Besides, they look fine the way they do. Then again, this is coming from a warped mind so don't listen to anything I say. K, thanks.

I can already anticipate what's going to get said here...
That's pretty general statement to be making. While I do agree that the pressures of a idealistic look must be difficult to resist, models are still people, just like everyone else. They do have personal standards and everyone's born with a different body type. Finally, the fact that someone's ribs are visible does not mean that they have an eating disorder.
