Susan Eldridge (born November 7th, 1979) is an American supermodel.
She stands at 5'10" (177cm) tall, with brown hair and blue, green or brown eyes, depending on who you ask - we'll just refer to them as "hazel," to keep things simple. Her early years were difficult, she and her five siblings were left homeless in Santa Clara, California after their parents moved to Utah, leaving all seven children to fend for themselves. Susan lived in garages and helped her older brother raise their four younger siblings until she was seventeen years old. By the age of twenty, she was unhappily married to a man "who was not very nice." Finally, Susan made the decision to leave her job at American Express, after she attended the National American Model Search in Seattle, Washington - where more than a few agencies fought to get her signed. She has since appeared on the covers of numerous issues of Vogue, in the United States as well as abroad. In 2004, she posed nude on the cover of The Face magazine alongside music star Pharrell Williams. She has appeared in shows for DKNY, John Galliano, Vivienne Westwood, Stella McCartney, Miu Miu, Sonia Rykiel and many more - Marc Jacobs himself has cited her as his muse. She has campaigned for Paul & Joe, Bebe, Sisley, Custo Barcelona and Sportmax, among others. In 2004 she was given a contract with Victoria's Secret, joining the likes of Gisele, Tyra and Heidi. She famously dated super-snapper Terry Richardson, who is famous in the fashion world for his womanizing ways as much as for his provocative photography. The pair split in 2004.
