wrong with the link, heres the picture :D

Yeah, I don't think it's your fault. I don't think it lets you link directly to those pictures on that website, but you can see them in the Advertisements section of susaneldridge.com. But yes, they're great pictures. Her face in the first one is amazing.

I don't believe these are in here. Sorry if they are reposts. I hope Susan returns to the runways......or at least do more editorials....

Cute! and Sarah Ziff always seems like such a nice girl :)

SUSAN ELDRIDGE. You get on that runway and provide us with plenty more pictures to gawk at! Ready, set, GO.

I love this girl, love her look - one of the most beautiful US models facially - and her sweet/crazy personality. But the constant teasing lolita is a hallmark of abused kids (hate to say) and i find it sad rather than sexy after a while. But in this industy, suppose you do whatever works.

^ how so do you think Susan was abused as a child???

Well, she hardly had the greatest parents, they abandoned Susan and her siblings. I´m not sure how old she was when that happened though. Anyone can speculate on whether she was abused or not but the girlchild kind of sexappeal seems very insecure to me if nothing else. Why would someone want to be seen as childish and unaware?

Are you guys talking about things she actually does? Or the way that she objectively LOOKS - which isn't really her fault?

I'm not trying to be cheeky here - I'd really like to know, because I don't know much about Susan's real personality.

Equinox, I feel bad speculating (and went against my better judgment in posting that here, not that it's stopped me before, eep). Just speaking to the behavior in general. I do know she lived on the street for some time before being discovered, but again feel like a jerk speculating.

I don´t know much about her either, but what I was talking about was her way of posing and acting in front of the camera, not so much how she looks. Lots of other girls look kind of childish faces too, like Vlada and Gemma, without acting quite so child-like. I´m not saying Susan always does this, or that it´s a part of her personality because that I don´t know anything about but it just looks to me as though she often plays the part of the innocent girl in sexy attire.

Aren't you speculative

A little FYI - Models don't always tell the truth in an interview? Perhaps best not to make such brazen statements with out substantiating them with fact. Further more has anyone actually checked out this whole story about being abandoned? Just something real to think about - however fiction has always been more exciting - who cares who it hurts. Right?

These days you can't believe everything you read...especialy in a fashion magazine. The interview you are quoting was in the UK Elle last year...not exactly a reliable source. I'm sure they realy check out a story before they print it right...Ha

First off, just want to say that what I meant to write was "if they abandoned Susan". I guess what I wrote might come off as if I believe I know. But how seriously are we supposed to be about a discussion on an online forum? It´s not like we´re writing the biography of Susan Eldridge here...

When one suggests that a person "might" have been abused by her parents. I'd say that's serious. I personaly take fashion very lightly, it's fun I enjoy it. But making personal attacks on someone you don't know - especialy assuming abuse - I take pretty seriously. I'm saying lets not smear the girls family when we don't know anything.

Cheers.
