Sweater Dress

Hebden that looks lovely and so easy to wear. i like the slight narrowing at the hem. and the empire waist is perfect.

Why do you think your too shy to wear a red one....I think it would look hot with black tights and knee high stelleto boots ....that's how I would wear it.

Don't be shy...rock it!!!

I know you're right actually. Thanks for encouraging me  I'll see whether I can find a nice one ^_^

I like the one from Saks, especially when paired with opaque black tights and knee-high, or even thigh-high hh boots.

I bought one from H&M yesterday, it was A line, dark grey, knitted, fits loosely, and just below the hips, loving it. I am planning to wear them with cigerette jeans, a scarf, and pointed toe shoes.

^I bought one at H&M this weekend, I'm wearing it today! It's black, and they had it in grey and purple as well!

certain shapes don't go together with knit fabrics, but you can find something to suit just about anyone. i remeber the eighties all to well, and the bubble shape does not go with the bubble butt...:))

however, a form fitting knit sweaterdress can look good on a curvier woman - i actually love this look and feel...

hello laides,

I am in search of few jumper dreses a la Stella McCartney: (not too) loose fitting, in cashemere or wool, short or 3/4 lenght short...something I can wear everyday but that are still able to be dressed up for particular occasions. the perfect descrption for what i am looking for is 'my boyfriend jumber which happens to fit me perfectly on the sholders and arms'.

I would love few in different colours, black, deep purple, beige and maybe deep green.

anyone has any idea where I can get some? i live in the London and would like not to spend too much on them. thanks a million

I just ordered this dress. Do any of you have any opinions on it? Even if you think it's wretched? Thanks so much!

I bought a sweater dress form french connnection - and still haven't worn it. Which is weird, b/c it's so comfortable but with university I don't want to take the train in a dress/skirt (subconciously maybe?)

I think it's nice I'd wear it with a belt @ waist and knee boots both in dark brown.

I just bought a very cute tricolor (black, white and grey) one from a thrift shop and can't wait to wear it with some tights and high boots.

do you have a picture of the look that you're going for?

Even a pic from stella or any other designer just so that we can get a better idea of what you are looking for?

You'll probably get more responses that way...
