I like them because completely baggy tops make me look like a sack but with it being more fitted around the top means that it gives shape. And it's more comfortable than a completely fitted top. I think I will become bored of it soon though.

i think baggy tops are great with skinny jeans. i also love wearing them when i go and pig out somewhere so it hides my gut!

I think being very thin makes u pull it off TNF...I have a 24 inch waist and very boney ontop but most my tops are considered baggy...i think u actually need to be think to pull it off..i love them!!!

I loved them until I had a baby! Now they just remind me too much of maternity clothes. I see some that I would like sometimes but don't end up getting them because my brain directly relates them with pregnancy now!

agree entirely.
i'm also thin and i have broad, bony shoulders. baggy/babydoll/empire tops make me look "fuller" at the top.B) makes me look less "emaciated"

how about this-

it's not a babydoll top, but i would call it a "tent" or "trapeze" top..
its also very full. i wore it with slim, boot cut jeans. again, this is a fashion fix for me.

I love the topshop "volume" sleeve ones. It seems they have those in every single colour now , I got the original dark grey one but typical topshop quality it's bobbled. The other colours seem a bit fad like now.

I love these style of top they make me look pregnant but they hide my stomach which im self consious of which is good These are rediculasly popular in the uk atm

i love all the tops voodoo mary posted, as well as the topshop one. i think if they are bought at the correct size for the person, they will not look like a maternity shirt. they need to be just a little drapey. when a tiny bit peeks out of a round neck shrunken jacket, it looks adorable.
