ruffled / tiered skirts

These are the skirts that I've heard being referred to as "ra-ra" skirts...very cute, but not for everyone. They don't flatter pear shapes IMO (like me hehe)

ive seen so many copies of that Luella skirt on the high street...

i like the luella one in #16, and Yigal Azrouël in #14. can't imagine the others would be very flattering, though?

i've seen more tops and dresses like this with tiers of ruffles...

i think the skirt must be more of a UK thing?...
i think Luella is bigger over there in her hometown...

i have seen some cute little skirts at H&M over here...
but they are just little full mini's..no ruffles or tiers..

i guess forever 21 is the source for it here..
which means that i guess everyone here who gets one will have the SAME one...

:p

there's a lot of ruffled skirts here too, so it could be a european thing

although there are a lot of ruffles on everything, tops, dresses, skirts etc

probably...
well...ruffles are definitely a trend for spring...just in general.,..

but this tiered thing is another thing...even though it's related..
it's almost bigger than the ruffle trend i think...

Definitely in!
I've seen a lot of them in-stores already. Many in that vintage inspired look in floral chiffons and lightweight fabrics...

I think it's cute personally. Very feminine and youthful..

tiered is muuuch bigger right now imo
it's everywhere, I haven't seen a single store not carry something tiered right now

but they do relate even though they're different, but I prefer the tiered trend to the ruffle
