I couldn't agree more. It does draw you in. It has a continuity, a narrative, and exquisite choices.

It is the first time I have noticed how strong is Charlotte's french accent. She's always French speaking French, but when she speaks English, sometimes it's different, though her pronunciation of some words is so French. Her mother had an english nanny and went to an English boarding school; she speaks more internationally, I guess you can say, French for French, English for English. It's just fun to hear Charlotte reading English words out loud with her strong Parisian intonations. It's very musical to the ear. I bought the issue. It's only my second System issue and I have a feeling this one is special.
