Since when a mediocre "designer" as Alexander Wang gets a second line

^ A bit harsh. This 'mediocre designer' seems to be doing rather well (both his main and diffusion line) and is continuing to expand and grow. Not to mention, a CFDA winner. But that means nothing right?

Anyways, I don't care for Zoe. Love Max.

Michael Pitt is so gross to look at. I know that sounds horribly mean, but I....just think he looks revolting. So naturally I don't like that photo.

I like the Zoe one, though.

I like Max's expression ,but the ad itself isn't very Alexander Wang to me...in my opinion it lacks the coolnes and edginess of Wang's designs even when this is not his main line.

And uhm I don't think A.W is a mediocre designer .what the hell did he did to you? :ermm:

I don't know, ask Michael Kors.

This looks lovely! I do agree that it doesn't bring accross the edginess and coolness A. Wang usually aims for, but it's nice for a change he's focusing on "pretty" instead of "edgy".

I don't get the hate for Alexander Wang and his designs. I think he's very talented and I love his collections. This campaign means nothing to me. I do love Zoe Kravitz and Max Motta even more but it's too simple. There's nothing to like or dislike in this photo.

Lovely! But the tattoo ruins it

I just don't understand the appeal of Zoe Kravitz. At all. She seems so LA hipster and it irks me to no end.

The male model, Max, looks great. Zoe on the other hand, not so much. Her pose is like one of those tween girls take in their bathrooms for myspace.

she looks sleepy and strung out. any working model could of done a better job than her.

I’m glad you people like the work of Alexander Wang and that you think of him as talented but why would I think the same way that you do?:ermm:
Personally, I think he’s one of the most overrated designers of the last time and I also think that his success is due the media support by editors, magazine directors, models and celebrities, the same way has happened before with other designers which careers weren’t as long and successful as people thought they would be.

I guess I'm the only one that absolutely loves this campaign :innocent:
