Gorgeous color palette and strong composition. If i-D bothered to make an effort, this is the brand of imagery that would give them a dose of freshness.

(Wish they didn't have that awful drop-shadow on the masthead, though...)

This is one of the most striking covers of the year.
Karim Sadli is such an underrated & underused talent. As always I'm completely mesmerized by Rianne. Such a gorgeous face, couldn't dream of a better cover for a beauty issue.

When Karim gets it, he gets it. I can see why he isn't as big as a lot of times his images evoke this same melancholy mood, but his close ups are always excellent.
The colors are so soothing

Oh Rianne is so perfectly beautiful! I love the composition of this cover.

Pure love. Super beautiful. Slightly demodé and lifeless but I'm into it.

Anyway, this looks like something Jamie could do. He is copying JH a lot as of late. Never got Karim's appeal...

^I think they contribute quite a lot to the graphic impact of the cover.

Love the oomph of the extra freckles here. Not really a Sadli fan (he takes the best of other lensmens' work and makes it into his own bland mush), but the boy done good here!

Amazing cover. Pure beauty.
Striking that T, WSJ magazine and other contemporary outlets like Porter etc are blowing the established fashion magazines completely out of the water lately. The Condé Nast days are so over.

^^ + Masha Skokova.

Basically a LV cast.

Stunning portraits btw.

It's a good thing Rianne got the cover because the others can't hold a candle to her. She's one of a kind.

It looks like blood splatter on her face... If I didn't like Rianne, I would ask "Who did she kill to get on the cover?"
