Taylor Jacobsen leaving Rachel Zoe

Okay, Rachel must be dying, literally, right now.
Her loyal, often sullen, but always, always hard-working styling associate Taylor Jacobson is finally leaving Rachel Zoe Inc. We’ve kind of seen this coming for a while, but the season ender showed Taylor getting a new role, well sort of, handling aspects of RZ’s growing merchandise business.
But we guess things didn’t get any better. In an email to contacts, Taylor said: “After four amazing years at Rachel Zoe Corporation, I’m saddened and exhilarated at the same time to announce my departure. After much thought and consideration, I have decided to take the challenging leap to go off and style on my own.”
Who will make Brad and Rach stay focused now? Who will keep Rodg up to speed on Rachel’s vertigo issues? Who will handle all those returns? We hope there’s a season 3 so we can find out.
Whatever happens we wish Taylor lots of luck in her solo styling career!

i have to say that i'm sad because she's leaving the show so we probably won't see that often her amazing outifts, but at the same time i am quite happy for her, i mean, i'm really curious to see how she will style on her own, without been under rachel's wing and influence..

^ True, her style is so different to Rachel's. Rachel is so hippie, 70s and flowy whereas Taylor is more mod and grungy.

I actually find her to be the only one working there. And to be honest without her complainst and b***hingness nothing would have been done. But I have to agree on her attitude it was really anoying.

I agree. She was a really hard worker and I do admire that, it's just that if she had done it with a good attitude she would have been awesome!

It did always seem like she was the only one working and that Rachel and Brad are sort of distracted a lot and she had to hold everything together...
I'll miss her on the show though!

She is a hard worker and has great style but IMO her personality could really hold her back as a stylist. Rachel is cheerful and friendly with her clients whereas Taylor is not personable at all. She'd really have to work on that.

I agree, I sympathised with her, but honestly she could really grate. I think particularly in this industry being a "people person" and happily building networks and connections by attending events is a large part of a successful career.

good luck to her, but i do wonder how it will pan out?

i think that the cameras put a lot of emphasis on her "miserable" side. liv tyler said she watched one episode of RZP and couldn't take it because she sees a different side of them..
