Also loving the capes Benn. I've been re-watching The Rachel Zoe Project the last couple of days and love how distinctive her style is - everything she wears today is the same as then in 2008, it's timeless!
Plus, "I die" for her vintage collection, I can't even begin to imagine owning her closet.
I agree that her style is her own and very distinctive. I think that is good to find your style and run with it. But she has always looked like she is stuck in the early 70's. The long dresses, the clunky platforms, the flared pants, pants suits, jump suits, the furs, now capes ... and her hair ... the whole thing. And I've always thought that she must hate her body and especially her legs ... because they are always covered up.
For the most part, it is the same old, same old. Very nice stuff, but way too predictable..
I am not suggesting that she jump on every trend just to show off, but I do expect a stylist to have a bit more variety and explore a few "new" trends from time to time. Surely, with her contacts, she could break out of her mold and find other looks that work for her too.
But seeing what she's wearing in post #843, above ... I am surprised to she her bare her shoulders ... that's rather daring for her. And we are starting to see a tiny bit of ankle in some of her jump suits ... that is clearly a departure from the 70's.
Maybe we are starting to see her morph a bit, finally ... it will be interesting to watch.
