Certainly not Gossip Girl's Taylor Momsen, who's been spotted around New York City over the past few weeks wearing crotch-skimming hemlines, garter belts and a scowl. Needless to say, the 16-year-old's risqué apparel has left the press, parents and fans in a bit of an uproar.
The starlet thinks they need to get over it.
"I don't care," she told E! News exclusively backstage at the G-Star Raw fashion show Tuesday night. "I think if everyone's going to be so upset about what I'm wearing, I'm like, well, maybe you should look at your life a little more. I don't know why you're so obsessed with mine."
To her, it's all about art.

Well (and please don't give me bad karma for this) she kind of does have a point with what she told E... perhaps she shouldn't have said it in those exact words, but I get where she was going with it. Being upset about her clothes does seem a bit trivial in the big scheme of things, no?

LMAO this girl is a little b!tch and needs to grow the hell up. Not gonna lie though she has balls to say sh!t like that. I feel like she's such an angry child and something happened in her life for her to be like this. I don't understand why she's so obsessed with being edgy and emo. To me it's all an act and she's just looking for attention. Maybe she doesn't get it at home and this is her way of acting out?

i personally think she's just WAY too big for her boots, and this gossip girl fame has totally gone to her (imo incredibly vapid) head.

perhaps if she stopped proclaiming she's so hardcore and so mature, i'd just ignore her and write it off as 16 year old stupidity. But seriously, she's doing herself no favours with the idiocy that comes out of her mouth.
