I never really liked her, but in some scenes in Gossip Girl, her acting is very believable.

She says that she has a unique personal style, but I can't see it as personal style because every outfit/look she wears is composed completely of trends - bleached hair + regrowth , aviator sunglasses, dark eye makeup, 'biker chic'/'rocker chic', mini skirts, bandage and bodycon, leggings, band tees, flannel, etc, etc.
It's so predictable and very boring.

She seems to confuse taking herself reeaally seriously for acting mature, when that's simply not the case. As of right now, she's a bit delusional in regards to herself; she's not mature. I believe in her and hope she doesn't ruin this for herself by evolving in the wrong direction.

I think that because she thinks she leads a "very adult life" she feels that she can get away with the things she wears and says. I've always wondered where the parents of these kids are. It's like they've taken a back seat to parenting and let their children get away with anything because they are making millions. I'm only 3 years older than her and I know better than to say something that would make me sound so pompous and arrogant and I'm sure if I were in her shoes my mother would forbid me to step out of my house looking like a cheap $2 stripper. And personally I'm not "taken aback" by her wardrobe, it's like every other hipster/poser that goes to NYU (my school) and it's not as unique as she thinks it is. The whole Joan Jett/biker look is pretty much the style nowadays, the only difference is that her wardrobe probably costs more.

Isn't every average sixteen year old girl full of herself? I mean...that's puberty. Her statements just get the attention of a lot more people than just a small crowd. I can tell the girls where I live are just the same, dress the same sl*tty way and they just truely believe they're different from others where they just aren't. The huge difference between her and other average sixteen-year-old is that she's known, famous enough to sit in the front row of a fashion show. That coud get really dangerous in the future.

i'm a few years older than taylor, but girls my age and younger dress that way.
its all about sexuality, and looking way older than they are because thats cool apparently.
and she's not looking at herself to be some kind of role model. or anything like that.
she's doing silly and immature things like every other sixteen year old girl.
and her parents can try to reprimand all they want, my parents did and i still rebelled.
the troubling part here, is will this only be a phase?
or will she remain as she is now when she's older, and then its serious issue.
but she's only sixteen, she's going to think she's grown and no one can tell her anything.
she just needs reality to hit her first like any other teenager.
