could someone possibly help me translate my website (only the homepage) in different languages?

hopefully, italian, spanish, french, polish...well any really :p

the site is www.justjr.com and i just want the home page
but also if possible i need the links at the top in the language... :blush:

or should i use one of those website translators? :unsure:

The upper buttons in italian would be:

Benvenuti / Moda / Modelle / ... / ... / ... / Contatti / Interviste

"Design" would remain the same, and also traducing "living" and "I-spy" would be quite hard; judging by those page contents, I could perhaps translate 'em as "Vita Mondana" and "Grafica", but it wouldn't be such a great translation...:blush:

the "-er", "-ir" etc. are the mark of the "infinitif" (the "to" before the english verb)
the thing you have to know is that there are 3 groups of verbs (so different way to "conjugue" them!!!!)

the verbs in "-er" = 1st group (like manger = to eat)

the verb in "-ir" = 2nd group (like finir = to finish)

the rest is 3rd group (like voir = to see)

but OF COURSE YOU HAVE EXCEPTIONS
for instance : aller (to go), venir (to come) etc are from the 3rd group.

a tip to remind it :
ONLY the verb in "-er" that makes "-e" at the end are from first group :
example :
Manger is from 1st group because at present tense it makes : il mange
but Aller is from 3rd group because at present tense it makes : il vient!
(you can see it's totally different from the initial verb!!!)

for the tenses, you have a lot divided into 5 parts :

Indicatif : present, imparfait, passé composé, passé simple, futur, plus-que-parfait (+ passé antérieur et futur antérieur...but i really doubt, you'll once use them!)

some examples :
Je mange / I eat = PRESENT
Je mangerais / I will eat = FUTUR

....then you have all the past tenses. but my english is not enough good, so I guess you won't understand anything....I'll try :doh:

PASSE SIMPLE is used for a "precise" past action. (...) à 17h, nous mangeâmes une pomme (at 5pm, we ate an apple).
IMPARFAIT is used for the time of an action. il mangeait souvent des gateaux (he often used to eat cakes)
PASSE COMPOSE is used for a close past action. hier, j'ai mangé une pomme.
(yesterday, i ate an apple)


Subjonctif (honestly, it's pretty rare we use this part in "talkings" but sometimes it's made naturaly. but in WRITINGS, you have to use this tense part) : present, futur, passé, plus-que-parfait.
it's the tense you use after "que"....

Impératif : passé, présent

Conditionel : Présent, Passé (1er et 2e forme)

the best thing you have to do is to check out a BESCHERELLE
if you have a verb to "conjuguer" they can do it for you on the site but it won't explain how it works and what the rules are. for that check the book : go in a french library at university and ask the "Bescherelle" (I know some are printed for "english", "italian" etc. so I guess you guys know the bescherelles)

Design / Living / Ispy / contact / itw : I guess you can let these, this way. french will understand.

shows : défilés or collections
beauty : beauté
print work : why don't you write "magazines"?
model agencies : agences de mannequins
comp card : there's a "technical" name for those cards but cannot remember!
fashion soundtracks : bande-son des défilés
fashion quotes : quotes = citations. but "fashion quotes" = les citations de la mode. which is long, no?:p

Could someone help me with the french words for weather? because thats what I did worst on in my last test :( infact I got none of the weather topic right :p Im just needing key words and maybe phrases :flower:
