You're right in a way...that's the anglosaxon translit...but the "international" translit is more accurate, and that would be "privet"

I'm not sure about that phrase...I mean, "glamorous" and "stylish" aren't such common words other than in english...example, even being italian, I dunno how to literally translate "glamorous" in italian, I think we'd say "glamour"
And for stylish we may use the word "stiloso" but it's more slang than proper italian...
