The problem (for us ) is that 30 years later your country is doing GREAT, while we have...stupid Silvio... (and the opposition ain't much better either...)
Sincerely, fashion is one of the very few things where I can still afford being patriotic...

we have dumb Zapatero.. i mean before we had Aznar, and although he did loads of stupid things (ie sending troops to Iraq) he also did some good ones. Zapatero has done it ALL wrong

I love Italy though.. it's a wonderful country
oh and I wanted to ask you, how do you say hello in italian? I know you say chao but I think that's more of an informal way, is there one a bit more formal?

^ Maybe "salve!" ...it's a bit more formal than "ciao" but still less formal than "buongiorno/buonasera"

p.s.
Btw, a funny detail that not everybody knows: "Ciao" comes from the old venetian salute "sciao vostro" which literally means "(I'm) your slave" (= I'm at your service)
