the first outfit is gorgeous, the following rather disappointing....

I like the sleek simple cuts, very refreshing from the loads of tackiness from the other shows. A few terrible outfits, but most of it is pretty. Simple, not too creative, but ok.

Space, your reading my mind obviously! Thank you

I think it looks quite good, actually. Different, perhaps because there's less handwork on the surface. As I said on schedule thread, looks very much like some of Branquinho's work.

And congrats to her! Baby on the way...and what I presume will be an even bigger hit collection. She deserves it.

You know it actually really reminds me of older YSL couture, may be it's all the blouses and pants. More avant garde of coarse.

I dont know..I like it, because it's so easy to like..but we've kind of been there so many times this past seasons..

i enjoy the volume, but i'm reluctant to buy into those satin looks.

i like the blouson tops with yoke necklines. I wish them not to be charmeuse/satin whatever the fabrication. I dont especially like the rest though, not with any consistency anyway.

i like this...good basics...i might style it a bit differently...
but good starting point for a wardrobe...
very mature...feminine and demure...

too bad about the shoes...i like the t-strap...but i think it should have been closed...but i know she go them donated and all things considered...not a bad
choice...

i definitely see branquinho from when i loved her and vanessa bruno as well...which i think all goes back to ysl's peasant/folklore days...which i have a VERY weak spot for... :flower:

thx for all the pix and the topic space... ;)

I really like it. Plain but with points of interest and I really like the muted color palette. I also agree with Softie's assessment that it's a nice wardrobe starting point.

Thanks, Spacemiu!

I have to be honest though,as much as I like this,it's nothing compared to my love for earlier, more esoteric work. Even A/W last year was so much better to me. I suppose that's what you're getting at Mullet?

But maybe her emotions are different because she's pregnant?? She's always said that's her foundation..everything emotionally derivitive. I always loved the stiffness of her style, but there's definitely a real ease to this. So maybe it's a reflection of how she feels being pregnant.

You know for Spring, she did those empire waist blouses, should we have taken that as a sign?

It's a little bland (most of the shows have been), but I like this...

yes, i think this is sort of bland compared with her past collections, which looked more..poetic, for lack of a better word

i think, with the exception of some outstanding outfits, I could've easily thought it was doo.ri or just some random NY show
