tFS Art Gallery #2 - Your Paintings, Sculptures, Drawings & Artwork

Here's a few of my pencil drawings and art pieces!

I drew her from a magazine, not sure what she was called

For this I photocopied the original and threw paint on the lips and eye areas, to create make-up in the style of Jackson Pollock! (I covered up the areas I didn't want the paint to go on).

My paintings of Vlada and other girls

Hi everyone, I am studying in professional graduate school completely not related to art or fashion. But I have been doing doodling, painting and drawing as long as I can remember. It's something I do for fun and joy, or just to express myself.

I saw Vlada Roslyakova three years ago on youtube, and she has since been my favorite girl. I want to draw and paint her, among many other girls. My current medium is digital painting on a tablet PC using Photoshop and Artrage softwares. Soon I 'll graduate from school and maybe move into more traditional media like watercolors and oil paintings.

I am not doing this for profit, I guess this is sort of like fan art. And yes I have a growing interest into design and fashion. A lot of source materials come from public-accessible photos on the internet, hopefully there is no copyright infringement .

I tried my best to paint her, but still they are far from the real person. .. ... Sorry, and I'll keep trying...

This thread will be updated with new works from time to time.

oil paints?

i especially like the 2nd and 3rd ones.

Jared- I love your pencil strokes- very expressive, suggestive, and gestural. You capture shapes very well, from the outline of the eyes to the point of the nose. I'm very impressed!

wjrmorley- It's true, your color play amazes me. I do feel a sense of emotion due to your color scheme and your technique. Love the way you executed movement in your paintings.

I've only just looked back at this thread, thanks for the comments KissenKatja! I will be sure to post more of my work in this thread in the future. And wjrmorley, really like the movement in your paintings!
