^thank you for your answer!
I went to check out your blog and its very nice! I have to post a comment on a few articles

I see what you mean. I actually have tons of things I want to write and talk about, but I try to do just an article a day. But then I kind of have a problem with writing... ^_^' I'm not very good at it, so usually I feel like my posts are useless and I should just delete everything... (hahaha! Good promotion right? :P)

^ Aw thank you!

I had a look at your blog and I really don't think you should be negative about it. You have good original ideas. Maybe it would be perfect if you added more big pictures to balance text/pictures (readers tend to be afraid of big chunks of text). And if you set yourself to write a post until you are really 100% satisfied with it, even if it takes a bit of time, I'm sure you'll feel better about writing!

Great!
Sorry, I'm on Wordpress so I have no idea how blogger works. But I'm sure a lot of readers can help you here. Or ask on the advice on blogging thread :flower:

I think it really depends on your blog.
When the posts are short, when bloggers tend to copy and paste pictures from other websites, etc., the updates seem to be nearly daily.
Regarding my blog, I tend to write long posts in English and in French with my own pictures so it can get time-consuming. I update once every 3-4 days.

The key is to be regular in your updates and install some sort of rythm and to write interesting content and not post for the sake of posting. Personally I'd rather follow a blog that isn't updated too often but that keeps me waiting for good posts, instead of a blog that floods me with irrelevant stuff.

^ I completely agree - I think it's much more about quality than quantity. So long as you are consistent and post with the same fairly regular intervals, the readers will keep coming back. I must prefer someone who always posts only twice a week than someone who posts 10 things in one day and then nothing for a fortnight. Similarly, I don't want to be innundated with blog posts that aren't particularly interesting.

I also tend to write quite a lot, take my own pictures, and write about my own experiences/clothes/finds, etc. so only post every few days. I think this is perfectly ok if that's the style of your blog. Blogs that are just picture-based (though I personally prefer a mix of pictures and words) are generally expected to be updated more frequently.

Hope that helps! :flower:

I changed my blog a little bit so please come and visit :flower:

If anyone followed me, just let me know and I will follow you too.
