I've just started blogging, so I'm still not certain how it will turn out, but I hope that I can make it fun and inspiring

Do most people use blogger/blogspot here ???

I wanted to know what you thought about uploading images to Blogger
(instead of uploading them to another server, like imageshack and photobucket, and linking to that file)
Is it convenient?

Some people will upload their pictures to flickr instead
I wonder why?

I'm just curious
and also a little worried if blogger ever shuts down and all of my images will be lost because the fact that I uploaded them to blogger instead of another server


Usually once I upload them, I will delete them from my hard drive to make more room

I'd advice you to upload the pictures to a different server as blogspot doesn't allow you to hotlink/use the pictures anywhere else than in the blog. This is probably why some people upload the pics elsewhere, including me.

I tried hotlinking an image from blogger to here once. It worked for a while, but it disappeared eventually
