Today I got the most amazing mix from Strawbery Daiquiri! All the wayfrom Ireland. I just wanted to let her know it's been glued to my discman ever since it arrived! Thank you!
I'm going away for a couple of days, but I'll be sure to post tracks and fauvorites when I get back!

Yay today I finally got my November mix from Pigling! The cover's so creative and all pretty looking I really love your idea of a torn and glued collage. It looks aged and sentimental, but at the same time quite beautiful in a modern way (I am not making sense at all ......... I feel kind of airy from the excitement) Thankyou so much, and it's not commercial at ALL! I've heard of 2 tracks from the whole CD, and all the new songs all sound marvellous. So far I've only got down to track 02, which is lovely, but as soon as I've skimmed through it all, I'll post the tracklisting and share my thoughts on the songs. Thank you ever so much, it's made my day

I had another idea - inspired by the thread "Your Runway Soundtrack"... It's basically taking the "fashion mix" idea a step further, but you'd pretend you're the designer, and you'd make a mix that your models would walk to. Just one of many ideas we already have though, I know, but perhaps an idea for a future month?

It's strange how I recognized so many bands, but own so little of their actual cd's. I haven't thought about that 'Kids in America' cover for so long, and now I'm listening to it constantly. Other bands getting a deserved comeback for me is Cat Power, Radiohead, The Prodigy, Air, Bell and Sebastian etc. Wonderful choice of songs, and also thank you for introducing me to all the bands and songs I didn't know! I greatly appreciate it!
