So soundtrack to our lives....could that be interpreted as either a song that was relevant to you at sometime of your life/that you have a memory attatched to...and also lyrics that are relevant to you/your lifestyle/your interests...? Or is that too broad and vague?

I think what I'm doing is just compiling all of my absolute favourite songs over the past ten years. It was about 1995 when I started getting into music and buying CDs. I've been going through the junk I hide in my closet for this... AND... I've discovered a few things I kinda like again.

amy, i would say that you can do whatever you like with the theme..you could do the former (picking songs out from your life that have specific memories attached or meanings, whatever) or songs with lyrics that are directly relevant to you and your life. i think what i'll probably do is pick some songs out (funny like nkotb and serious like, well, something else ) maybe chronologically that have some kind of specific memory attached to them. or it can just be songs that you like! it's the soundtrack to YOUR life, do with it what you will! i can just say though that i'd want to get a mix from EVERY ONE OF YOU because this is just such a great theme!

Ah yes, you say it's the soundtrack to MY life...but when you have limitations...your receiver's musical taste etc, it's hard to do so like that...it seems when you are going by another persons taste, that it loses the identity of 'me'.

i totally understand your point...however...don't go by those guidelines! i'm not the receiver will know that the theme is personal to the identity of the sender, so can harely hold it against the *sender. i certainly wouldn't

Still the seasons one is oddly a bit of the soundtrack of my life...just my year though and what went on in it.

I agree, .francesca! I love this theme and am very excited to make a mix! Personally, I would rather have my 'sender' make something that is personal to them, than to try and match my tastes, given this amazing theme. That's what I'm going to do!
