I got my October mix today! It came from Greece, made by miss-lilly! I was so surprised... and right now I'm probably the happiest girl in the world as I'm listening to it

She hit all my musical preferences, it's perfect!

Black Dove (January) - Tori Amos: I'm a January gril myself, respect and adore Tori Amos, I love her music (but didn't know this song previously)!
How to bring a blush to the snow - Cocteau Twins: I didn't know the song, but it's a really beautiful winter song
Winter - Tori Amos:
Song to the Siren - This Mortal Coil: *dreams* New to me, but totally my taste.
Throughout the dark months of April and May - Cocteau Twins: very light, very surreal
Cold - Cure: I love love love The Cure!
Street Spirit - Radiohead: One of my fave bands! Very pretty song, didn't know it yet.
Perfect Day - Lou Reed: OMG!
In the cold, cold night - White Stripes: Another fave group of mine!
Vinegar and Salt - Hooverphonic: Didn't know this one, but it fits in just right with the rest, creates some kind of special mood.
Casting lazy shadows - Puressence: Not a 'lazy' song at all
Cloudy now - Blackfield: *shivers*
Disintegration - Cure: more of the Cure yay!

Cherry Blossom Girl - Air: Air are genius... such a lovely song.

Sparrows and the nightingales - Wolfsheim: He *is* German And makes beautifully gloomy music.
Walk away - Franz Ferdinand: They rock!

It's simply the perfect winter soundtrack and the perfect CD for my new appartment... where I will move in in December...

i know my october receivee has gotten their mix but i haven't heard from them yet...what do you think?!

also, my september receivee, yourbestfriend, never received a mix (dumb canadapost ) so i'm going to make him another one and he should get it soon! promise!

i sent my november mix out the other day so it should get there soon, i hope...

I’m so pleased to discover Midair Condo especially and Swan Lee
The whole mix is so relaxing to listen to and arrived in perfect timing because I just finished an especially stressful project today and it was a luxury to just be able to sit back & enjoy the lovely music...the opening song

ok everyone!

anna karina and i have decided to close the trade for the month of december to give priority to the holidays and sending those types of packages. we will resume the trading for january 2006. please try to get out any late mixes in december so that you will be all caught up in time for the next trade. plus, getting a mix will be a nice holiday surprise
