i once woke up from a horrible crash to realize the board that was holding my magazines had broken

now i keep them in the attic, i hope the house is firm enough.

and lola, you could also imagine several fashion shows if you want to have them short

^ I keep most of my magazines in the attic too. Just not above where i sleep.

Lola - my only advice for length would be "brevity is the soul of wit". You might be inclined to fill the CD to the brim, but it might overwhelm the listener and not get the same impact that a concise, solid mix would get. Not that i've always been known to follow my own advice...

i often put 13, 15 or 17 songs on my mixes, if i'm doing a cd. if i'm doing a tape, i fill both sides to the brim, but don't let the songs get cut off at the end.

right now most of my magazines are taking up space in my parent's garage

It's from Poppy Azura and it's simply lovely! So much style (very jazzy and bluesy), perfect for an evening at home. Or I'd put it on once I have the opportunity to invite a date home

Haha, oh man. Before I had so many songs, then I decided 3/4 of them weren't worthy, and now I'm having such a hard time putting the rest together in a good mix. Urghhh.

I've only had the chance to post the tracklist now, but i listened to it immediately and it's very special, even more so because of the words that accompany it.

^ like the secret santa but you send cd's with your music on in relation to the monthly title (e.g. "my life soundtrack" etc...)

also, im really annoyed, i cant find a cd case, so ill have to use one of the paper ones instead, i have too much on at the moment...so disorganised

Eeep! I'm having so much trouble with this - all these songs I'm desperate to put on my cd, but don't really go with the theme... Is it okay if I include a cd, or two (or three, or four, or five... ) of non-fashion show stuff?

Btw, kudos to whoever created this project!

warholsuperstar, it's totally up to you how you do this project - if you want to send more than one cd, that's your call! we'd like that you try to work around the theme but beyond that, it's YOUR project. and i'm glad you like it!
