sienna - the album is 16 Haiku & Other Stories (Songs Based On the Poetry of George Seferis) by Sigmatropic, thirsty ear recordings. I checked, and it's available on iTunes, if you can't find it anywhere else.

i love that you are/were larry-durrell-obsessed to the point of re-naming yourself! finding all of these quirky commonalities with people on tFS is the best... i found a little book by him when i was 14, "reflections on a marine venus", which put me under the spell of the greek islands, his writing and the whole world of that time/place. ahhh... i'd time-travel there right now.

and strawberry daiquiri, it's funny about that Bjork song, i put it on thinking, "when this comes on, this person is either going to love it or fling the whole thing out the window", so i'm glad my gamble was successful!

i currently have 3 out of 4 outstanding mixes made and needing to be sent, and i'm working on the 4th as dilligently as i can under the circumstances.. but i hope to have everything out in one fell swoop this week or early next. and i'm excited for this new may theme, covers! i think it will be fun!

Grrr, annoying Realplayer keeps perpetually re-booting every now and then, esp. just when I've so nearly completed all the mixes I'm behind on, it re-boots and deletes all of my playlists again! So I'm back to square one again!

edit: i got the karen elson song from an uncut giveaway cd some time ago, not sure where else you could hear her? i really like her voice and way of singing, it's very simple and unpretentious.
