The Arcade Fire

Laika? As in Good Looking Blues, Laika? Are they trancey like Laika are or was that a random mention? Anyway I have seen articles comparing them to Springsteen which obviously would pique my interest. Is there any truth in that? I might itune them tmw.

I'd say the new song (antichrist television blues) has a small element of Springsteen. Definitely itune them, I think anyone who appreciates good song writing like Springsteen would enjoy them.

^ I know! I saw them live at the smallest venuy in houston. It was the size of my bedroom! It was tinny! and now they are playing huge venues and they are selling out in seconds..

^ I know! It's amazing. It has amazing power and just makes your jaw drop at the ending. Very emotional.

i liked funeral a lot, but i don't really feel like buying neon bible...

I have both. Unfortunately I haven't had a chance to listen to Neon Bible much, but what I have heard is fabulous. In my humble opinion anyway...

I like both albums, but I think I prefer Funeral more....

Well it's official. I'm seeing them live at the greek theater on may 30th. Section C, Row H. Not great, but considering they're called one of today's greatest live bands I'm not going to complain.

I can't stop listening to "My Body is a Cage'!

Oh! I know!

I'm going to see them tomorrow!!!! I'm bouncing off the walls

just saw them last night at massey hall in toronto!

i also saw them last year at hillside.

basically just adding to what everyone else has already stated... the most amazing band live. even if you don't like their music you'll be able to appreciate the energy they put into every performance! just flawless!

I'm back. They were so awesome! High energy, they were climbing up the metal frames on the side that hold up the lights and banging on them during Neighborhood 2. High energy, and good show..

The show was outdoors so it's quite bright.

i cant believe how big theyre getting....

Me neither. Remember when their shows cost barely 8 dollars?

yourbestfriend! The third picture is awesome. They really play the hell out of their instruments live.

^ hahaha yea, and they would even be outside talking to the people in the line and i was even able to chit chat a little with them in the back once the show was over. Man, I'm going to miss those days.

damn yourbestfriend, you were close!

unfortunately, my dad took the digital camera with him that day. (we had a major arguement afterwards. i repeat: it was his fault.) we changed seats 3 times until finally no one kicked us out and let us stay instead. and luckily in the seats we stayed in, win butler went right past us.

they played practically all the songs I could've wanted them to play. I was constantly moving along to every song from the beginning, screaming, trying to scream, dancing, singing along, clapping, fists in the air... it was a damn good night. :D

if i wasn't a crazied, obsessed fan before- i am now.

^ heheheh i been even closer... i was right infront of Win.. I mean, RIGHT in front. It was kind of creepy.

I'm beyond excited about seeing them, I'm sure I'm going to make an absolute idiot of myself.
