The Arcade Fire

I am obsessed with Sprawl II (Mountains Beyond Mountains). I never liked them before but I think I'll give them a chance now.

I looooooove that song
:heart::heart::heart::heart::heart:
also video directed by spike is great, I´ve allways liked that song.

Finally saw Arcade Fire live tonight at Manchester Central and they blew me away. Such an amazing sound! :woot: And they pretty much played all my favourite songs. I wish it could have been longer.

When they segued from Power Out to Rebellion (Lies) was possibly the best bit. B)

Manchester Central (aka G-MEX) is absolutely huge. Makes me regret not seeing them in a smaller venue. But at least the sound in there is really good from such a large place.

I'm jealous. I was going to see them at the O2, but I had plans that day. Turns out I wouldn't made it anyway because of the snow. It was a lose-lose situation. Ha.

i saw them 3 years ago during the NB tour. the playlist was dreams, but as the venue they played at had a really weird set of audience with weird habits (such as standing still and cursing at anyone who dances) and as it was the end of the tour certain weirdness was obvious - fatigue and bad responsness from the audience did it. i loved the concert, but yeah...i felt it too.

They're performing tonight at the Grammy Awards. That should be a treat.

I just heard they won the Grammy for best album, that's amazing! I'm happy they got this kind of recognition.

you should've seen their faces..they couldn't believe it..that guy from Lady Antebellum was so pissed off...

^ they did look pissed off, and I wish we could have seen the look under Lady Gaga's hat

Wow, that's a pretty big deal for them. Very well deserved. But I get the impression from comments I've seen on twitter that a lot of people watching the show had no idea who they were.

well, i knew very well who are AF and had no clue who Lady Antebellum or Janelle M. were.:ninja:

Grammy's haven't had someone this "alternative" to win this in awhile now. i'm hoping this will make lot more people download their albums. ^_^

I know, the other nominees are such popular mainstream acts. i didnt think theyd stand a chance!
I was so surprised (in such a good way!!) they won. The album is absolutely brilliant.

I'm looking forward to seeing this short film with Spike Jonze..

**thanks for the videos dajrekshn & FrenchCactus!
